Ana’s family migrated to the United States in the 1990’s from Michoacán, Mexico. Her father benefitted from the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 and through him, she was able to eventually obtain U.S. citizenship. As an immigrant herself, she understands the many challenges that immigrants and their families must overcome. Her passion is to help others achieve the American dream.
Ana attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Latin American studies in 2013. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, in addition to hiking and yoga.
